When can I start cycling?

The City Bikes are available for unlock between 5 am and 1 am. You can park in a station at any time. Enjoy!

Do I have to pay with my smartphone?

No, entering your mobile number and verification code is only to confirm who you are. The payment is by payment card (Visa or MasterCard).

I have received a gift card. How do I get started?

Lucky you! Redeem your value code here on the web site or in the app, and follow the steps.

Are the bikes electric?

No.

Do the bikes have GPS-tracking?

No, its not possible to track the bikes unless they are in a station.

How do I locate the closest bike station?

You can find this in our app or in the station map. In our app you can also see the real-time status of our stations.

Which app should I use?

The app for planning, real-time info and unlocking bikes can be downloaded for iPhone or Android.

Do I need a Norwegian mobile number?

No, you can register and unlock a bike with a foreign number. The only thing you have to do is to manually select your country code.

What happens with my old pass?

Your profile is saved, but you need a new pass every season. Get a new one here.

Can we order a season card for our business?

With our business solution you can create and distribute subscriptions freely, in form of value codes. Each subscription is for personal use for the recepient. Go to oslo.no/en/business for more info.

I'd like to suggest a new station location

We're close to finishing building the scheme, and will focus on building already planned stations.

Why didn’t I receive a code by SMS?

Sometimes it takes a few minutes before the SMS code comes through. Wait and retry if you experience problems.

The purpose of the SMS code is to verify that it’s you. The personal PIN-code can be made when you are logged in to your account and can be used directly on the stations to unlock a bike.

Do I get 5 extra 24-hour passes from OBOS with all subscriptions?

No, you only get 5 extra 24-hour pass when buying a season pass at full price, as a member of OBOS. Subscriptions bought with discount or special offers does not include this benefit.
